Default beginner help

if anyone could help me here i would appritiate it. i'm doing this project as a money saver and as a learning expreiance. the transmitter will be on a constant power supply while the recivers will be on a limited supply. the range will have to be atleast 30ft - 50ft. i would like to make this so it will not interfere with other electronics or other ellectronics to interfere with this. btw this is a device for my truck so it will have to beable to run off that type of power. i've got the electrical wiring down (i think) i just need to figure out the rest.
