Thevenin Equivalent

First it's important to know the Thevenin and Nortion Theorems.
A voltage source in series with a resistor (Thevenin) can be transformed to a current source in parallel with a resistor (Norton).
So for example, If I have a 2A source in parallel with a 10Ω resistor (Norton), I can transform that to a 20V source in series with the 10Ω resistor (Thevenin). So using that method you can move the resistors so they are either in parallel or series, according to the sources, and then you can add series and parallel resistors together.
