Hey there, I have a mouse that currently uses a Li-ion battery pack, and requires a charging dock.
I decided that the charging dock is too big to lug around, so I want to swap out the Li-ion for a battery holder that holds normal batteries.
Provided that I can get around the same voltage and same current from the batteries, would this replacement work safely?
Also, Li-ion battery packs have 3 wires -- I assume one's positive, one's negative, one's ground.
However, typical battery holders only have 2 wires: positive and negative.
How would I go about adding the 3rd wire? Or would I have to worry about it at all?
Thanks.
