Friends,
My "boss" ask me to wire-bond an IGBT chip with Al wires. I never did this before, and I even do not know what's on the surface of the chip. I checked the internet and find some example, like this page:
http://www.techno-fandom.org/~hobbit/cars/ginv/i2compon.html
The chip that I need to bond is shown in the attached picture.
My question is: 1) What's the meaning of those different "channels" or "columns" on the chip surface?
2) Do I have to bond one wire on each "channel" like those shown in the website pictures?
I am not an EE guy, so ...
Thanks!
