Im wondering are Laplace transform and fourier transform actually the same, just that the exponential term of fourier is pure imaginary term? Can i always do fourier transform like i did laplace transform?
Besides, i need help on 2 questions below regarding the fourier transform...
1. f1(t) = u(t+1)*sin(pi*t)
2. Given F2(w) = 10 / [(2+jw)(5+jw)], find f(2t-1)
For question 2, i did find out the f2(t) =(10/3)(exp^-2t - exp^-5t)u(t)
however when i sub in t = 2t-1, i dont know how to deal with u(2t-1),
Thanks in advance. Regards.
