Just whip up a twin-t filter - http://www-k.ext.ti.com/SRVS/Data/ti...s/ssttbphq.htm.

Hello,

Why don't you want to use the ne567?
There are lot of good examples with this IC.
Take a look at this page of the EDUCYPEDIA.
http://www.educypedia.be/electronics/pll.htm

An other way is make a sharp filter and detect the signal that is seen after the filter.

Greetings,
Bertus
