Default Chopper Circuits

i really need to find out where i can find info about jones chopper....i'm having alot of trouble finding it oonline...its not there in any of the power electrnics books i'm referring .it there another name for it?i could be googling it under the wrong name....

Nope, the Jones chopper is a legit animal. Google comes back with 636,000 hits on it. Sadly, there don't seem to be any schematics online. The technology dates back to the 1960's and uses SCR's. If you have an IEEE membership, then you may be able to get at some papers dealing with it.
