Default Equivalent Circuit for Transistor

Is there any equivalent circuit for a pnp or npn transistor which we can use to analysis the transistor circuit ?

Is it the same for all configration or it is different for each like a different circuit of common Base (CB ) and a different one for Common Emitter (CE)

Two famous transistor models are the H-parameters model and the R-parameters model. Search for them in google or wikipedia to see how do you use them.

You should look up the general subject of "Small Signal Analysis", under which the models mentioned by mik3 will fall under.

See the following as was posted by a FM in another thread: http://users.ece.gatech.edu/~mleach/...et/thejfet.pdf
