Hello everyone there?

I am wonderring how to place the sense properly in OrCAD?

Because when I route a sense from a power line with shunt, a ARTWORK engineer feels harder to place the shunt.

But if i just route a sense without the shunt, I should control the every each sense line guide for a artwork engineer.

Is there any good options in OrCAD for it?

Thanks

It is going to depend on the physical size of the shunt you want to use and how you want to connect to it.

Orcad, like most layout programs, is very literal about connections. But there is nothing to keep you from adding extra pins to the schematic for extra pads in the layout.

Once I laid out a TO-3 transistor with 4 pins all called "collector" so I could make all the mounting features I needed.

Show me the shunt and I'll give you some more specific ideas.
