i think
A+A'B+A'C'
= A'(A'+B)'(A'+C')'
= A'(A.B')(A.C)
= B'C
=(B+C')
= 1(B+C')
= (A+A')(B+C')

i think the following might work

A+A'B+A'C'
A+A'(B+C')
A+A'(B+1-C) //C+C'=1
A+A'(1-C) //1+B=1
A+A'C'
(A+A')(A+C') //X+YZ=(X+Y)(X+Z)
1(A+C')
A+C'

@CSharpque

I find the easiest way to be going back to the truth table and re-working it for the maxterm solution.
