whether the design will change if i change the opamp?

i am designing a pulse generator using opamp.It consist of an astable multivibrator which triggers a monostable multivibrator.i previously used 741 opamp in order to generate a 10 microsecond pulse.but later i came to know that since it is a high frequency application ,741 is not sufficient.so i want to change the opamp.i am doubt ful that if i replace the 741 ic with an opamp which is having the same pinout as that of 741,will the design of my circuit change?

If the pinouts are the same and the maximum voltage rating of the new op amp is adequate, then the replacement op amp should work without a design change.
