Default Scaling voltage

Say I have a voltage input from 4 to 4.5 volts. How would I convert that voltage to a range of of 0 to 5 volts? This isnt a signal but a voltage out of a barometric sensor.

Hello,

I would say subtract 4 Volts then amplify with factor 10.

Greetings,
Bertus

Hello,

Take a look at this page on summer with opamps from the Ebook:
http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_3/chpt_8/8.html

An other approach can be a differential amplifier:
http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_3/chpt_8/9.html

Greetings,
Bertus
