Do we have EINSTEIN in the modern age?

Expanding on your thought of those who are beyond the norm and "get it," let me propose:

1) David Letterman for comedy
2) Al Gore for money
3) Bill Clinton for politics
4) Madonna for ???

Although, it does make me queasy to mention any of those names in the same sentence with Einstein.

If anyone is the new Einstein its him. He is expanding on Einstein's work and is responsible for like 40% of the big bang theory.

Oh and Al Gore invented the internetz for epic lulz.

What makes you think we DON'T "see him distinctly". Seems rather obvious to me.

Al Gore did help google get permission from library of Congress
do there records on digital. So maybe that how he feels that he helped
Invent the internet.There a lot people worried about googles

You know, I don't foam at the mouth about Al Gore like some people. I'll grant he misstated what he meant to say about the internet, people generally do that all the time without a large block of people jumping down their throats. I even believe in going to a greener tech base, but I suspect there is a lot of do what I say, not what I do, as with a lot of politicians.

I've heard about is house using alternate energy sources. This is great, but how does this help the country at large? Most of us are doing good to pay the electric bill. We don't all have the money to make those choices.

That's exactly true, how are we going to pay for solar panels, hybrid cars, and other alternative energy sources? We simply can't afford it at the moment!

I told a "greenie" once that alternative energy is largely impractical. He showed me how wrong I was - that IF you covered the roof of a 1300 square foot home with solar arrays and had the amount of sun we get in Georiga - you can power almost the whole house including some limited A/C with the sun!!!! He actually took me to websites where the stuff is for sale today.

But I wasn't done - I still won - I said "impractical". His system of inverters, batteries and solar cells came to just over $51,000. And you STILL need a connection to the grid - this is only a supplement to the grid.

It would cut my electric bill by well over 80%. Which saves me almost $60 a month, averaged over the year. So, if there were no maintenance costs, payback would take 70 years.

He refused to admit that I still won - solar is impractical unless I give up A/C.

Does any one know the area or state that the temp
is moderate enough to have less need for power year
round. Some one must have that life experience.
