With a bare PD; it may be worth considering a voltage follower - you can use a lower G/S shunt resistor for faster discharge of gate capacitance.
Incidentally where the rotating field and the rotor is the same rpm, these are known as Synchronous motors.
...in NA, so the field rotates at 60hz x 60sec = 3600rpm, but a common rpm for this motor rotor would be ~ 3470 due to the natural slip frequency....

That does the trick. Here's what the sum looks like when max step = 1e-8 :-
The error is now down at the uV level after a few mS.
You may have blown it by putting 120v on the 15v terminal!!
The suggestion was to use the 1500 only.
Open it up and see, nothing to lose.
...t=1.10 seconds, then the results displayed for each.
Try setting the max step size much smaller like 1e-8 and see if there is a lower error....

I like to get 1mv resolution at best.
Vref is at Vdd (5V)
Max voltage is 35VDC scaled down by BB OPAMPS down to 5V for 35V output....

that is motor driver... what exactly you wish to accomplish? measure current draw using sense resistor in the IC? this resistor is on high side...
