|
|
Hello,
I use molsieve and activated alumina to dry solvents (aceotnitrile, DMF,
CH2Cl2) for electrochemical measurements.
What is the best way to regenerate them. In another group I was working
they first drowned it in distilled water to get rid of any residual
solvent on the molsieve or activated alumina and then heated it to 250
degrees celcius at ambient pressure IIRC.
Is this method also appropriate for activated alumina?
What temperature should I use if I can decrease the pressure to 1mbar
(in order to prevent aging)?
Suggestions for different methods?
Thanks in advance for comments,
