Some things I bought today. 35 dollars for everything! The software and the rolling luggage case for the laptop not shown. I thought this was a hell of a deal!

Yes Sir, it all works with the possible exception of the GPS which seems to be reading pre entered data only. However the manual is about as thick as a small brick so I've got a fair amount of reading to do before I declare whether or not that unit is usable! Thanks for taking the time to look and comment Mr. Cappels.

It feels like it Mr. Cappels! I want to put these things to use as soon as I am able but like so many of us there seems to be so much to do and so little time. But the time will come and I've got ideas for a certain system setup with dual OS. I'm considering using the Dell for a Linux box.

Linux, as a desktop operating system seems to be where the Mac was in the 1990's as far as utility and popularity is concerned. (Acknowledged it is tops for servers.) I don't use it but a friend in the Melbourne area swears by it and seems to be able to do anything he wants with it. From memory, he is using Linux Mint (Ubuntu). I hope you get it working smoothly without too much work.
