wireless modem-router security problem

can any1 help me to fix my Home LAN net, there is 1 PC cnnected via Ethernet to a wireless modem-route, and 2 laptop also is in my NET.
the problem is that, PPP pass couldn't be configuered in router-modem.whenever I try, after reboot,nothing would change.:confused:

What type of router do you have? Is there a dialouge box to enter the password? Is the problem that you cannot enter your password in the dialouge box? Did you verify your password with the telecom company?
