please help......

We have a dell server, dell powerEdge 2800, it runs with a windows server 2003 sp1 standard edition, with 2 GB physical memory. Then it works slow. Because of that, our management decided to upgrade it to 6 GB but only 3.2GB has detected in the OS but in BIOS it detected the 6GB memory. The memory limit of windows server 2003 sp1 standard edition is only 4 GB, is there anything we can do to make the OS see the actual memory? Is there any keys to change in the registry? or what?

Thanx for any help.....................;););)
