I have a need for a circuit that will be very inexpensive and probably very simple.
Two inputs, one is used to determine how many pulses will be generated on the output. if the line is low a single pulse will be generated, if the line is high multiple pulses will be generated. For now I will say 3 pulses, but would be nice if the number could be set via dip switches. maybe the range from 2 to 4. I made an oscillator circuit using a 555, now I need the logic to generate the correct number of pulses. the pulses are 200msec. ttl logic levels should be fine. The second input will active low pulse 100ms low and minimum of 100ms between pulses
