cleanin lcd

jus wondering if anyone had any expireince in cleanin lcd screen..any one had any industry info on how its done...a lot of forums hav accounts of people who experimented with various stuff on their own.. jus wonderin if anyone here worked in industries with proper knowledge on whatcan be used and what sudnnt be used for doin the same
and is softly wiping the screen with a very slightly damp cotton cloth harmful?

have been using a hanky or soft tissue. :o maybe there's a better way.
