I have the laser assembly for an HP LJII. I'm replacing the laser with a red one if I can get the motor to spin. I don't need anything fancy just for it to spin.
I think it's rotation if fixed in one direction but I've not traced it down yet.
What this does is sweep a beam from left to right.
